Official Philanthropy - The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation
The official philanthropy of Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, which supports school and college readiness. During Phi Sigma Sigma's Centennial Convention in 2013 in New York City, Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation announced its new philanthropic cause - School and College Readiness. In 2015, Phi Sigma Sigma announced it's national philanthropic partner: Practice Makes Perfect.
Theta Eta has partnered with Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County and Every Child Valued as their local philanthropies.
Make a Difference Day
More than 140 volunteers of Rider University including Phi Sigma Sigma sisters were dispatched to 10 different sites around Toms River, Mercer County and Pennsylvania. From beach sweeps to local community projects, the sisters had an amazing day of giving back.

After-School Holiday Extravaganza
Pictured left are some of our sisters with Santa Clause where they partnered with the Bonner Community Scholars program of Rider University to celebrate the holidays with an after-shcool program for kids. Sisters had an activity table where they invited the children with a question, "Do you want to build a snowman?" The snowmen were made of marshmallows, pretzels, and chocolate chips.
Movies & Hot Chocolate With Kids
Pictured left is our sister Christina speaking with a young student at our after-school movie day with a local after-school program. The students of El Centro After School Care gathered with sisters for a relaxing afternoon of watching a holiday movie, crafts and sipping hot chocolate.
